New channel offered

LIMA– NBC LX is a new television network that features news, lifestyle and entertainment programming for a younger “Gen Z and Millennial” audience (20-30 years of age).

Lima television broadcaster, Metro Video, has made the new channel available to Lima and Wapakoneta on TSC cable system channel 110 and in Celina, St. Marys on Wabash Cable channel 345.

The NBC LX network is owned by NBCUniversal and taps the vast television programming resources of NBC. Topics include news, tech, the environment community, entertainment and social issues that are designed to connect people to the community and to each other.

“This programming is unlike anything on television,” Said Metro Video owner, Greg Phipps. “NBC LX bucks the trend of putting more ‘classic’ television programming on the air, and is purposely designed to appeal to younger audiences with LIVE news with young hosts that speak to a new generation.”

NBC LX recently broadcasted the Olympic Trials and will be featuring additional content from NBC networks.

NBC LX is also available on Metro Video’s new TV station, WLMO-TV 2 in Fort Wayne.

The full program guide and network info is available on WLMO.tv.
