New Bremen earns wins at home quad match

From staff reports NEW BREMEN — The Lady Cardinals picked up three more victories during a quad match at the Nest on Saturday.

They defeated Covington 25-16, 25-13; Shawnee 25-6, 27-25 and Versailles 25-18, 22-25, 25-17.

Olivia Heitkamp had 32 kills and Rianna Paul made 17.

Melina Schrader had 68 assists. Abi Powers made 32 digs. Mary Rindler recorded 10 blocks.

Keira Steininger had five service aces.

New Knoxville gets wins

NEW KNOXVILLE — New Knoxville also hosted a four-way match on Saturday. The Lady Rangers defeated Stivers 25-18, 25-13; won over Elida 25-8 and 25-18; and then won over Kalida 21-25, 28-26, 25-19.

Brynn Egbert had 39 kills in the three matches. Lauren Wingler had 48 digs. Addi Albers had 57 as- sists and seven aces. Against Kalida, Ally Topp had nine kills and seven blocks. New Knoxville (0-6 MAC, 5-13 overall) will travel to Versailles on Thursday.
